Organisations face an unprecedented threat from cyber-attacks, with the costs of cyber-crime expected to exceed US$ 2 trillion this year. We live in an age where lax cyber-security can have ruinous consequences for businesses and other organisations – leaving them open to ransomware attacks, phishing e-mails, or everything in between. What’s more, the joined-up nature of modern business means that one organisation with weak defences in a supply chain can open up others to attack, highlighting why all links in the chain need to have an agreed minimum standard of cyber-hygiene.
