An online self-assessment tool has been launched by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to ensure they are complying with data protection laws, Computer Weekly reports.
Once the questionnaire has been filled in, the online tool will provide organisations with a rating of compliance with the Data Protection Act as well as links to relevant information.
