Role summary

In this role you will be expected to ensure security measures around the SAP landscape are adequately designed. You will also be designing SAP security-related processes, procedures, systems, standards, governance, controls and guidelines.

Job responsibilities

In addition to the above you will:

• Engineer and maintain a sustainable SAP role architecture to facilitate maintenance of SAP authorizations
• Gather information from various stakeholders
• Document requirements as SAP security services’ governance standard
• Design and implement controls ensuring SAP systems remain available, transactional integrity is guaranteed and data confidentiality requirements are met
• Promote an information security culture driven by risk considerations
• Manage and transfer knowledge by designing training materials; train SAP security staff and other stakeholders
• Solve complex technical security-related challenges relating to our clients SAP landscape
• Ensure the above measures / principles are consistently deployed within SAP security and across our clients SAP landscape
• Security processes and system planning/tools
• Governance, risk management & control design
• Knowledge Management & training
• Advanced technical Support (3rd level) & tools
• Controls & monitoring

Skills and knowledge

• 7+ years working experience in SAP security with a focus on design/architecture
• 2+ years project management experience
• University Degree or equivalent
• Cyber Security experience preferred
• Audit or Advisory background preferred
• Certifications/training in the following areas is preferred: SAP GRC; SAP Security Certified; SAP Basis Certified; CISM; CISA; CISSP; TOGAF or other relevant certification in the field of information security.
• Proven experience of working cross functionally
• An aptitude for problem solving
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritising and handling multiple tasks, whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
• Flexible ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work successfully in a close team environment
